Be a part of the solution - Volunteer!

Greetings! My Name is Reverend Daphane Lynn Williams and Lynn's Hope House of New Beginnings is a vision that has been in my heart for years. I realized that the women in our community needed a way to help break the cycle of recidivism and I am passionate about making that happen.

I believe that now is the time to make the dream a reality.

I am a wife and mother of two adult children and 7 grandchildren. I am a Credentialed Minister and have been serving the Lord for over 20 years. During that time I have been a Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher, Adult Bible Study Leader, Church Librarian, Advisory Board Member, and I am currently ministering to women at the Del Norte County Jail and have been for the past 13 1/2 years.  I also worked full time as a Social Worker for Del Norte County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) for 12 years of the 13 1/2 years that I have been ministering at the jail.

Titles held were Social Worker for Child Welfare Services (CWS) formally Child Protective Services (CPS) where I worked as a Family Maintenance Worker, Wrap Around Facilitator and Court Unit Case Manager, then to the Adult and Family Services Unit where I worked in Adult Protective Services (APS) (On-call) and In Home Supportive Services (IHSS). Knowledge of programs including their computer programs, policies and procedures for APS or IHSS. Also, Licensing for Foster Family Homes, Family Child Care Homes and Relative Approval. I retired from DHHS on June 1, 2018, so that I could devote my time more fully to Lynn's Hope House of New Beginnings.

I aspire to not only touch the hearts of women in my community but, also women world wide, empowering them with the truth of the gospel.

Lynn's Hope House of New Beginnings is about changing lives and renewing hope.
